Lauryn Battle
I’ve always enjoyed drawing as a pastime, but after receiving a Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design in high school, this paved the way towards going for a graphic design degree and hope to work for an AAA game developer. I always put the time and effort into creating my art, as though I were making it for a customer and not just for myself. Using the knowledge I gather, whether during school, home, friends, or work, will make me a better designer with a flair for creativity. Thinking outside the box and getting creative with my craft will allow me to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a AAA game designer. With my background in graphic design, I think I can make my dream become a reality. By reflecting on art I’ve made in the past helps me to grow as an artist. With the Adobe programs that I have have been using, it has helped me develop my digital art portfolio. So taking an old drawing from when I was younger and turning it into a digital design opens up new possibilities of enhancing my art. By utilizing Adobe, this can be a gateway into game designing.
